Even though I have received such wonderful revelations from God. So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud. Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 2 Corinthians 12:7-9

 

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Psalms 23:4-5

 

Prayer Pointers:

1. Declare that God’s grace is with us and sufficient to help us through every pain and defeat.
2. Ask for tenacity to push through the challenges you face.
3. Make a commitment to seek God’s wisdom and presence in times of hardship or weaknesses.

 

Prayer:

Thank You Jesus for Your grace that You lavished on us so freely. We were unworthy of it, yet You desired to give it to us. From this day onwards, help me to fix my eyes on You, to depend on You through crises that I cannot overcome alone. I need Your strength to sustain me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
