Make a Pledge

The Legacy Offering is our investment into the future of this house and our vision.

We're believing for $60M to be raised over the next 10 years to settle our major building needs for the next 30 years, and set a foundation for future generations.

We will do this in three phases, and are believing for $20M in Phase 1 from 2026 to 2028.

More than a building project, we are giving for the next generation. Join us and make a pledge from 17 May 2026.

$60M in 10 Years
Phase 1 $20M
2026–2028
Phase 2 $20M
2030–2032
Phase 3 $20M
2034–2035

Total Estimated Project Cost: $100M

Build For the Future

Our facilities in Tampines, Choa Chu Kang, Sembawang and Toa Payoh are approaching 30 years old. Land leases are due for renewal, and building systems need replacements and upgrades.

This is also an opportunity to renovate our spaces to support our vision in the next few decades.

Better spaces for connection
Enhanced spaces for language groups
Purpose-built rooms for community outreach
Facilities for missions training
Standardised Growth Track and discipleship rooms

Dream about what God can

Frequently
Asked Questions

In Singapore, the majority of land for churches is leasehold. Our properties are on 30-year leases, and we need to renew these leases to secure the land. Most of our main facilities are also over 30 years old. Structural elements, aircon systems, lifts, and escalators all have lifespans, and we've reached the point where replacement makes more sense than continual patch repairs. The land renewals are the natural moment to invest in the buildings themselves, rather than pour money into ageing infrastructure we'd have to redo soon after.
The estimated project cost is $100M, which comprises:

$18M for Choa Chu Kang ($6.5M land renewal, $11.5M renovation)
$18M for Sembawang ($6.5M land renewal, $11.5M renovation)
$15M for Tampines renovation (land was already renewed in 2024)
$49M for Toa Payoh (land and building)

These are estimates and subject to change. The cost at Toa Payoh is higher because the building is almost 60 years old. We need to be prepared to rebuild it if we extend the lease, or build at a new site for the Central region.
After a 10% tithe, the Legacy Offering is estimated to contribute approximately $54M towards the project. The remaining $46M can be financed through our general funds, rental income from the Rubikon and Jurong West buildings, and bank loans to support cash flow.
These are newer buildings which have more years remaining on their lease, and do not require major lease renewals or renovation at this time. However, upgrading works are still being carried out. VFC Kovan has had a full building repaint, a 4th-storey renovation to enhance the space, and new giant fans in the fellowship areas. Further works are planned for both sites, including LED screen upgrades and repainting at VFC Bukit Merah.
We're approaching this in faith, trusting God for full provision. If giving falls short of the goal, the church leadership will prayerfully review priorities and adjust the scope or timing of works. The land renewals for CCK and Sembawang are non-negotiable — those must be secured. Other works may be phased differently.
Any excess will be directed towards the later phases of the project (Phase 2 and Phase 3).
This is an annual pledge. We will be making annual pledges each year from 2026 to 2028 towards the Phase 1 goal of $20 million. This year, pledges will be made from 17 May 2026, to be fulfilled by 3 January 2027.
Every amount given in faith counts, and we believe that God brings a blessing when we move together in unity. Whatever your stage in life, let's be a part of the Legacy Offering together!
Yes! You can make a one-time gift by 3 January 2027, or give monthly over 8 months from June 2026 to January 2027. Instructions on how to make recurring payments can be found at www.vfc.org/give.
Yes. The Legacy Offering is a dedicated gift for the building vision — it doesn't replace your regular Tithe or Missions Faith Pledge, which continue to sustain the ongoing life and ministry of the church.
The Willing Offering is raised annually to service our bank loans — it pays for what's already been built. The Legacy Offering is different: a 10-year campaign looking ahead, raising what we need now so our facilities are settled for the next 30 years. The Legacy Offering will replace the Willing Offering.
